What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a third-party link containing tracking information. If a user follows that link and completes a qualifying purchase or other action, TinyTools may receive a commission from the partner. Unless a page says otherwise, using an affiliate link normally does not change the price shown to the user simply because TinyTools may receive a commission.
How we label commercial links
When affiliate links are enabled, we identify them near the recommendation card, link or related content with plain language such as “affiliate link,” “we may earn a commission,” or “sponsored.” Sponsored content is distinguished from ordinary editorial content. Advertising is not presented as a tool result, system warning or deceptive download button.
Ranking is not for sale
TinyTools does not accept payment to directly buy a “best,” “#1,” or default ranking. A third-party service should first have a clear relationship to the task the user is completing—for example, moving from local image preparation into a broader design workflow, or from basic PDF organization into advanced editing, signing or collaboration. A commercial agreement may determine whether a relevant link can be monetized, but it does not by itself determine the editorial conclusion.
Editorial and product independence
The commission rate of an affiliate program does not determine whether a core TinyTools utility remains available, how a feature is designed or what our privacy explanation says. We do not intentionally create false warnings, artificial scarcity or exaggerated product claims to increase clicks. When a task can be completed with TinyTools for free, we do not claim that a third-party purchase is required.
Data associated with affiliate activity
When an affiliate relationship is active, the partner or affiliate network may record clicks, attribution, orders or conversion information under its own rules. Core TinyTools utilities continue to follow the local-first practices described in our Privacy Policy. Once you visit a third-party site, its own privacy policy and terms govern its data processing.
Changes over time
Affiliate programs, commission rules and products change. A relationship that existed previously may end, and new partnerships may be added. We aim to remove invalid links and update labels when a commercial relationship changes materially. General workflow guidance should remain useful without a specific brand, so a guide should still make sense if every commercial link is turned off.
Report a disclosure problem
If you find a commercial link that is not clearly identified, a destination that does not match its description, or a recommendation that appears improperly influenced by a commercial relationship, send the page URL and a screenshot to service@7m7s.tech.
