Why TinyTools publishes workflow guides

Compressing an image, changing dimensions or converting a file may take only a few minutes, but the real task is usually longer. You first decide where the work will be used, choose or create an asset, verify that its license fits the project, make edits, then check the final dimensions, format and file size. TinyTools handles the lightweight steps that are practical to automate in a browser. These original guides connect those steps into repeatable workflows.

The purpose is not to manufacture pages around commercial links. Each guide starts with a concrete problem: what should happen first, what commonly causes rework, which records should be kept, and when a local TinyTools utility is the right tool for the job.

A practical default process

  1. Define the final use firstDecide whether the asset will appear on a website, social network, presentation, printed item or client delivery package. That decision drives dimensions, format, transparency, color requirements and licensing needs.
  2. Choose or create assets secondPrefer sources with clear provenance, accessible license terms and editable formats that fit your workflow. Finding out at delivery time that a font cannot be used commercially or a template depends on missing software creates avoidable rework.
